Personality:

The first thing anyone notices about Wade is the fact that he's constantly talking, rattling off jokes and can be pretty damn unbearable. He's highly immature for his age and hides behind sarcasm and humour to avoid any real talk of feelings. Even when he's angry he'll make jokes, whether it's at the expense of his enemies, friends or himself. Most of the time it just seems like he sees life as an attempt to make at least someone laugh, whether it's himself, someone beyond the 4th wall, or anyone around him. Most of the time it doesn't seem to matter if the joke is risky or not, often times angering his enemies when they can severely hurt him.

Another big thing that stands out about Wade is how complex he is, even if he tries to put out that he's not. He's got slippery morals and has no issue killing people or hurting them if it helps him succeed in whatever he's doing. He is a mercenary where he's done some really awful things for money. However, Wade isn't a villain, he does do the right thing a lot, even if he struggles with it. He saves people he deems worthy, hurts those that he deems bad and does defend people quite a lot. We see him in the first movie taking a job to help a young woman with a stalker and then refusing payment.

A big part of Wade is also the mental illnesses that he clearly suffers from. There are multiple times throughout the movies where we see him suffer from anxiety, especially when it comes to Vanessa - appearing to have a panic attack when he tries to find her after becoming disfigured. He also suffers from depression that ranges to suicidal. In the second movie after Vanessa dies he tries to kill himself and seems to have very little care for himself or those around him. Something else he seems to have is an empathy disorder of some kind, not really caring about consequences or hurting people's feelings most of the time unless they're close friends of his.

Through the span of both movies, we see Wade's personality evolve, and he actually betters himself and his morals. While ultimately his goal is to get back to Vanessa, we see him care about a young boy named Russell and actually put himself in harms way to protect him. Ultimately he even sacrifices himself to save the boy, and then after getting what he wanted (death), he accepts that he has to go back and help the others, even if Cable had the largest say in it.

While Deadpool could arguably be good or evil, he generally straddles the line of both and keeps the title of an anti-hero. We can see that Wade is deeply affected by those he's around at the moment. When he's with the X-Men and Vanessa he tries to do better by them and himself, seeming to want to do the right thing to an extent. However when he's surrounded by those with dubious moralities like Domino or various enemies, he doesn't seem to care about the right thing or who gets hurt in the crossfire.

When it comes to those he cares for, like Vanessa, Russell, the X-Men and X-Force and even Cable he seems to try to protect them to the best of his abilities, often putting himself in harms way to keep them safe. We see him use himself as a shield for Negasonic and Russell, this shows that he isn't nearly as uncaring as he tries to play up. He genuinely likes their friendship and protects it, even regretting that he let Colossus down at one point.

Wade is also rather insecure about his appearance, thinking that Vanessa won't want him after he becomes disfigured and even having a mild panic attack when he's out in public the first time. He tries to hide as much of himself as he can with hoodies when he is first adapting to looking like he'd been bitten by a radioactive shark. Ultimately he decides on the Deadpool suit because he's insecure about his looks more so than really trying to hide his identity like typical masked vigilantes. What it really boils down to is that Wade is very human, even if he is a mutant, and that he tries to hide that some things do actually bother him.

He's also quick to temper most often and will lash out in anger violently if he can do so, seeming unbothered by maiming people out of anger. We see this a lot when he hunts down Francis and kills his way up the chain of command, often taunting and torturing people as he did. Interestingly enough, often times his frustration is taken out on himself, and he seems not to care about pain.

Abilities/Powers/Weaknesses & Warping: I assume the healing warp where it affects other people will be a thing. If he needs any more just tell me. Maybe his cancer rears its head every now and then?

Are you comfortable with prominent elements of fourth-walling?: No. I have a huge problem with them. 4thwalling is wrong. Yes, I'm cool with 4th walling, are you?
What themes of horror/psychological thrillers do you enjoy the most?: ALL OF THEM. I don't really know. I love being spooked and all the spooky stuff. I live for it. I love when stuff kinda ties together. I also love when it's like insidious like in Silent Hill and stuff... Iunno, this is a terrible answer, sorry. I hate the horror that has to rely on jumpscares tho.
Is there anything in particular you absolutely need specific content warnings for?: Nope.
Additional Information: Deadpool has a handful of mental illnesses that we've seen in the movies, depression, anxiety, suicidal tendencies as well as a strong lack of any stable morals.
